The name Nombuyiselo, gifted to the Queen who birthed my mother’s mother, holds within it the power of benevolence and generosity. For Nombuyiselo, as the stars whisper, means to give back. My great-grandmother, a beacon of the noblest virtues, embodied this name with grace and beauty. She stood tall, a paragon of nurturing, leadership, and healing, defying the odds and embracing her truth. The jeers of those who dared to mock her gifts fell silent in the face of her power.
